答。慈恩云。無。中有身。以不改轉總報故。但是順現轉別報。若總報第八。即不轉。又如地獄中萬死千生。亦無中有。以不轉總報故。

Answer: Ci'en says: there is none. There is no intermediate existence body because the universal recompense is not changed; this is merely a particular recompense transformed in the present life. The eighth [consciousness] of universal recompense does not transform. Furthermore, as in the myriad deaths and thousand births within hell, there is also no intermediate existence, because the universal recompense is not changed.
