問。此一心門。理無異轍。約機對法。教有多門。於一法中。名字差別。或名佛性。或稱如來藏。云何成藏義。云何名佛性。

Question: This gate of the one mind is non-different in its principle; yet, in addressing capacities and matching dharmas, the teaching contains multiple gates, with different names and designations for the one dharma. Sometimes it is called the Buddha-nature, and sometimes it is termed the tathāgatagarbha. In what sense is the meaning of 'garbha' (womb/treasury) established, and why is it called 'Buddha-nature'?
