問。聖人大寶曰位。若無位次。即是天魔外道。既有信入。須假鍊磨。於初心方便門中。證解唯識。約教所分。有幾位次。

Question: The great treasure of the sage is called rank. If there are no stages of rank, one is a heavenly māra or an outsider. Since there is faith and entrance, one must rely on smelting and polishing; in the expedient gate of initial resolve, realizing and comprehending vijñaptimātra, how many stages of rank are differentiated according to the teachings?
