97.2

夫佛教已明。須陳祖意。達佛乘者。皆與了義相應。如法華經云。是人有所思惟籌量言說。皆是佛法。無不真實。亦是先佛經中所說。

Now that the Buddha's teachings have been clarified, the intention of the patriarchs must be displayed. Those who have thoroughly reached the Buddha Vehicle are all in accord with the definitive meaning. As the Lotus Sūtra says: 'Whatever this person reflects upon, measures, and speaks is all the Buddha-Dharma, and none of it is untrue; it is also that which was spoken in the sūtras of former buddhas.'
