第二十六祖不如密多尊者傳法偈云。真性心地藏。無頭亦無尾。應緣而化物。方便呼為智。

The verse of transmission of the Dharma by the twenty-sixth patriarch, the Venerable Puṇyamitra, says: / "The storehouse of the mind-ground of the true nature / Has neither head nor tail. / Responding to conditions, it transforms beings; / By expedient means, it is called wisdom."
