The Suvarṇaprabhāsa-sūtra says: 'Apart from non-discriminative wisdom, there is no higher wisdom; apart from the suchness of dharmas, there is no higher object.'
Explanation: All objects are conceptual discriminations of mind and words; thus there are no objects, only consciousness. If one understands that consciousness is empty, it is merely the one true mind, which constitutes non-discriminative wisdom. This is the peerless wisdom, the foremost teaching; how could there be any other wisdom capable of surpassing it? This nature of the one mind of tathatā is that upon which the myriad dharmas rely; apart from this, where else could there be even a tiny speck of dust that could serve as a signpost? If, apart from this one-mind object and wisdom, one perceives something, it is all the seeing of clouded eyes and a mad mind, failing to perceive reality. Therefore, the Tathāgatācintyaviṣaya-nirdeśa-sūtra says: 'Just as people with cataracts in the same place see different things without obstructing one another, all due to cataracts of the eye not seeing true color, sentient beings are also like this: the nature of form is unhindered, but because their minds condition [objects] differently, they are blinded to right view and fail to understand reality.'
