The monk Guizong said: Mind itself is Buddha; through and through it is only the nature. The mountains, rivers, and great earth are sealed by a single dharma. This is the great spiritual dhāraṇī, true and not false; it is the fundamental source of all Buddhas, the root and bone of bodhi. What is the Buddha? It is the very one speaking right now; there is no other person. A sūtra says: 'For example, a single form receives various names according to how sentient beings see it.' All dharmas are only a single dharma, receiving names according to place.
