The Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa states: "When one discourses on the Dharma and enters into the Buddha's mind, there is only a single quiescence and extinction. A single gate of samādhi subsumes immeasurable samādhis, just as when one pulls on one corner of a garment, the entire garment is lifted, or just as when the queen bee is obtained, the rest of the bees are completely subsumed." It also states in verse: / "Although the characteristics of the Buddha's teachings are empty, / they are also not annihilated; / although produced, they are also not permanent; / the various karmic actions are not lost. / All phenomena are like plantain trees: / everything is produced from the mind. / If one knows that phenomena lack substantial reality, / this mind is also empty."
