問：「一切眾生不得解脫者，皆為認其假名，逐妄輪迴，《楞嚴經》中唯令以湛旋其虛妄滅生，伏還元覺，得元明覺無生滅性，為因地心，然後圓成果地修證。云何一向徇斯假名，論其散善，轉增虛妄，豈益初心？」

Question: "That all sentient beings fail to attain liberation is entirely because they cling to nominal designations and pursue delusion, transmigrating [in saṃsāra]. The Śūraṅgama Sūtra only directs one to use serenity to turn around their delusive cessation and arising, subdue and return to primal enlightenment, and obtain the non-arising and non-ceasing nature of primal luminous enlightenment as the mind on the causal ground, and only then completely accomplish the cultivation and realization of the fruition ground. Why do you exclusively comply with these nominal designations and discuss scattered goodness, thereby increasingly multiplying delusion? How could this benefit the beginner's mind?"
