答：「古德顯佛果有三：一、亡言絕行，獨明法身無作果。二、從行漸修，位滿三祇果。三、從初理智自在圓融果。此是上上根人，圓修圓證，雖一念頓具，不妨萬行施為；雖萬行施為，不離一念。若亡情冥合，各是一門；遲速任機，法無前後。」

Answer: "Ancient worthies revealed that the fruit of Buddhahood has three kinds: first, putting an end to words and cutting off practice, which solely clarifies the dharmakāya as the uncreated fruit; second, gradual cultivation through practices, fulfilling the fruit through the three asaṃkhyeya kalpas; third, the fruit of the unimpeded, perfect fusion of principle and wisdom from the very beginning. This is for people of the highest capacity: completely cultivating and completely realizing, although a single thought-moment is suddenly complete, it does not obstruct the application and enactment of the myriad practices; although the myriad practices are applied and enacted, they do not depart from a single thought-moment. If one puts an end to sentiments and silently unites, each is a distinct gate; slowness or swiftness is left to individual capacity, but the Dharma has no before or after."
