問：「欲真持經，應念實相。既忘能所，誦者何人？若云心口所為，求之了不可得；究竟推檢，理出何門？」

Question: "If one wishes truly to uphold the sūtras, one should be mindful of dharmatā. Since subject and object are both forgotten, who is the person reciting? If one says it is produced by mind and mouth, seeking it, it is completely ungraspable; upon ultimate investigation, from what gateway of principle does it emerge?"
