問：「住相布施，果結無常；增有為之心，背無為之道。爭如理觀，福等虛空。故經云：『佛言非我，而能順理。』何堅執事緣塵，而不觀心達道乎？」

Question: "Giving while abiding in signs bears the fruit of impermanence; it increases the conditioned mind and turns away from the unconditioned path. How can it compare to the contemplation of principle, whose merit equals space? Hence a sūtra states: 'The Buddha said: "It is not self, yet it conforms to principle."' Why stubbornly cling to phenomena and external dusts instead of contemplating the mind and penetrating the path?"
