答：「若問假名，數乃恒沙。今略而言之，總名萬善同歸；別開十義：一名理事無閡。二名權實雙行。三名二諦並陳。四名性相融即。五名體用自在。六名空有相成。七名正助兼修。八名同異一際。九名修性不二。十名因果無差。」

He answered: "If you ask about conventional designations, their number is like the sands of the Ganges. Now speaking briefly, the overall title is 'The Common Return of the Myriad Good Practices'; individually, ten meanings are opened up: First is termed 'Non-obstruction between principle and phenomena.' Second is termed 'Simultaneous operation of the expedient and the real.' Third is termed 'Parallel presentation of the two truths.' Fourth is termed 'Fusion and identity of nature and characteristics.' Fifth is termed 'Sovereignty of essence and function.' Sixth is termed 'Mutual accomplishment of emptiness and existence.' Seventh is termed 'Concomitant cultivation of primary and auxiliary.' Eighth is termed 'The single boundary of sameness and difference.' Ninth is termed 'Non-duality of cultivation and nature.' Tenth is termed 'Non-divergence of cause and effect.'"
