With this merit of sweeping the ground, I dedicate it to the sentient beings of the dharmadhātu: may the dust of forms be pure. Because dust is pure, the eye faculty is pure; because the faculty is pure, the eye consciousness is pure. Sounds, scents, tastes, touchables, and mental dharmas are also like this. Furthermore, I vow that one world may be pure, even until the entire dharmadhātu and space realm are completely pure, together with all the Tathāgatas' majestic adornment and abiding—the pure ground of enlightenment of the saṅghārāma of complete enlightenment, cutting off habit energies forever, the two extremes of purity and defilement, not a single speck of dust standing upon defilement or purity of ordinary and sage. With such a vow, may pure wisdom likewise be pure.
