傳法有五　一受持　二看讀　三諷誦　四解說　五書寫　外護內護流傳即　佛法僧寶不斷也

There are five ways to transmit the Dharma: first, upholding it; second, reading it; third, intoning and reciting it; fourth, expounding it; fifth, copying it. When external and internal protection ensure its circulation, the Buddharatna, Dharmaratna, and Saṅgharatna will remain unbroken.
