疎齋易備長安樂。美食難消損道緣。多見水邊林下客。
一生無事亦長年。

Sparse meals are easy to prepare and bring lasting peace and joy;
Fine food is hard to digest and harms conditions for the Way.
We often see those guests by the waters and beneath the trees
Spend their whole lives free of affairs and live to a ripe old age.
