出家事業總荒唐。贏得身心蟻子忙。簿上轉經多積欠。
眼前業障自身當。門徒施利魚顋水。
買得油鹽雪見湯。年去年來何了日。不知將底見閻王。

The undertakings of renouncing home are utterly reckless, / Gaining only a body and mind busy as ants. / Sutra chanting recorded on registers accumulates many debts; / The karmic hindrances before one's eyes must be borne by oneself. / The disciples' alms and gains are like water through fish gills; / The oil and salt they buy are like snow meeting hot broth. / Years go and years come—on what day will it end? / I wonder what you will hold when you meet King Yama.
