深嗟末說實悲傷。佛法無人為主張。未解讀文先坐講。
不曾行脚便陞堂。將錢討院如狂狗。
空腹高心似啞羊。奉勸後賢休繼此。免教地獄苦時長。

Deeply lamenting the latter-day decline is truly sorrowful; / The Buddhadharma lacks anyone to uphold it. / Before understanding how to read texts, they first sit to lecture; / Having never undergone itinerant pilgrimage, they immediately ascend the hall. / Taking money to seek a monastery like mad dogs; / Empty-bellied and arrogant like dumb sheep. / I respectfully advise future worthies not to follow this path, / Lest the duration of suffering in hell be long.
