蒿里新墳盡少年。修行莫待鬢毛斑。死生事大宜須覺。
地獄時長豈等閑。道業未成何所賴。
人身一失幾時還。前程黑暗路頭險。十二時中自著奸。

The fresh graves on the Artemisia Village are all youth; / In practicing cultivation, do not wait until the temple hair turns gray. / The matter of birth and death is great and must be awakened to; / The duration in hell is long—how could it be taken lightly? / Before the path's work is accomplished, what can one rely on? / Once a human body is lost, when will it return? / The journey ahead is dark and the road dangerous; / Throughout the twelve periods of the day, guard vigilantly on your own.
