9.117

出家立志切須勤。也要時時近好人。蹭蹬莫隨愚伴侶。
蹉跎又恐落風塵。無良小輩頻頻脫。
得義高流數數親。若也依吾如是誡。佛家梁棟亦堪陳。

Leaving home and establishing resolve must be earnest and diligent; / One must also constantly stay close to good people. / In faltering, do not follow foolish companions; / Wasting time, one may fall back into worldly dust. / Constantly cast off unworthy and petty fellows; / Frequently associate with noble sorts who attain righteousness. / If you also follow this admonition of mine, / You will be fit to serve as a pillar and beam of the Buddhist house.
