1.14

夫學般若菩薩。具大根器。有大智慧始得。若根機遲鈍。直須勤苦忍耐。日夜忘疲。如喪考妣相似。恁麼急切更得人荷挾剋骨究實。不妨亦得覯去。

“Now, a bodhisattva who studies prajñā must possess great capacity and great wisdom before they can succeed. If one's capacity is dull and slow, one must simply work diligently and patiently endure, forgetting fatigue day and night, just like mourning deceased parents. Being thus urgent, if one furthermore obtains someone to support and assist them, carving to the bone to investigate reality, one may just as well attain realization.”
