移剌楚材丞相。參萬松老人。屏斥家務。杜絕人跡。雖祈寒溽暑。無日不參。焚膏繼晷廢寢。忘飡者幾三年。乃獲印證。

Prime Minister Yelü Chucai investigated under the Venerable Wansong. He set aside household affairs and cut off all human visitors. Through bitter cold and damp heat, not a day passed without investigating. Burning oil to continue past dusk, abandoning sleep and forgetting meals for nearly three years, he finally received certification.
