西蜀無際禪師。初做工夫。四指大書帖亦不看。只是拍盲做鈍工夫。乃得大徹大悟。

Chan Master Wuji of Western Shu, when first applying effort, would not look even at a note the size of four fingers; he simply applied clumsy effort blindly, and thereby attained great penetration and great awakening.
