如是比丘。精勤方便。肌膚瘦損。筋連骨立。不捨善法。乃至未得所應得者。不捨精進。常攝其心。不放逸住。

"A monk who is thus diligently zealous in skillful means will have his skin and flesh waste away and his tendons and bones stand out, yet he does not abandon good dharmas; even up to the point of not yet having attained what ought to be attained, he does not abandon vigor, constantly collecting his mind and dwelling without negligence."
