評曰。師自云。他人先定而後慧。某甲先慧而後定。蓋話頭疑破。所謂休去歇去者。不期然而然矣。

Appraisal: The master himself said: ‘Others first have samādhi and afterwards prajñā; I first have prajñā and afterwards samādhi.’ Because the doubt concerning the huatou is shattered, that so-called ‘resting and desisting’ happens spontaneously without expecting it.”
