做工夫須要起大疑情。汝工夫未有一月半月成片。若真疑現前撼搖不動。自然不怕惑亂。秖管勇猛忿去。終日如呆的漢子相似。到恁麼時。不怕甕中走鼈。

To apply effort, one must give rise to a great feeling of doubt. Your effort has not yet formed a single piece for a month or half a month. If true doubt appears before you, unshakable and unmoving, you will naturally not fear delusion and confusion. Simply charge ahead with vigor and indignation, all day like a witless fellow. Reaching such a time, there is no fear that the turtle will escape from the jar.
