評曰。天如而下。皆元末及　國初尊宿。若傑峯古拙楚石。則身經二代者也。楚石為妙喜五世孫。而其見地如日光月明。機辨如雷烈風迅。直截根原。脫落枝葉。真無愧妙喜老人矣。天如以至今日。無四休者。獨其語皆提持向上極則事。教初學人做工夫處絕少。僅得一二錄。如左。

The commentary says: From Tianru onward, all were venerable elders of the late Yuan and the beginning of the [Ming] dynasty. As for Jiefeng, Guzhuo, and Chushi, they personally lived through the two dynasties. Chushi was a fifth-generation descendant of Miaoxi [Dahui Zonggao], and his insight was like the brightness of sun and moon, his tactical sharpness like thunder and swift wind; directly severing the root source, he shed the branches and leaves, truly bringing no shame to the old man Miaoxi. From Tianru down to the present day, there has been no one like Sixiu. Only his words all hold up the highest ultimate matter of the upward direction, and rarely teach beginners how to apply effort in practice; only one or two records were obtained, as follows.
