入院後須會兩序勤舊茶。詳細詢問山門事務砧基契書什物。逐一點對交割。計算財穀。簿書分明關防作幣。務在詳審。

After entering the monastery, the abbot must convene the two ranks and retired officers for tea, inquiring in detail about the monastery's affairs, the property deeds, and utensils, checking and handing them over item by item. He must calculate the funds and grains; the registers must be clear so as to guard against malpractice, taking care to examine everything thoroughly.
