九月　初一日首座復鳴坐禪板。堂司提調糊僧堂窓。下涼簾上暖簾。重陽日早晨知事燒香點茱萸茶。住持上堂許方來相看。

Ninth Month. On the first day: the head seat resumes striking the zazen board. The hall administrator's office oversees the papering of the Sangha hall's windows, lowers the cool blinds, and hangs the warm blinds. On the Double Ninth festival, early in the morning, the administrators burn incense and offer dogwood tea. The abbot ascends the hall, and visitors from afar are permitted to pay formal visits.
