The above two texts in a total of two fascicles. In the era of Emperor Wen, śramaṇa Kālayaśas (in the language of the Song: "Fame of the Times") of the Western Regions was upright, straightforward, and had few desires. He was well versed in Tripiṭaka learning, possessed broad knowledge, and was particularly skilled in dhyāna meditation. At the beginning of the Yuanjia era he arrived in the capital. The emperor praised him deeply and ordered him to reside at the Daolin Hermitage on Mount Zhong. Because the above two sūtras are secret methods for reversing hindrances and magnificent causes for the Pure Land, which he constantly received, maintained, and chanted, the śramaṇa Senghan prayed and requested him to translate them. Han personally served as the scribe. Both appear in Daohui's Song and Qi catalogues and the Biographies of Eminent Monks.
