右三十五部合三十六卷。孝武帝世。北涼河西王沮渠蒙遜從弟安陽侯京聲。屬涼運終為元魏滅。京聲竄竊南奔建康。晦志卑身不交人世。常遊止塔寺以居士自卑。絕妻孥淡榮利。從容法侶宣通正教。是以黑白咸嘉敬焉。所譯前件雜要眾經。既諷習久對眾弘宣。臨筆綴文曾無滯礙。丹陽尹孟顗見而善之。深加賞接資贍隆厚見高僧傳。

The above thirty-five works in thirty-six fascicles. In the era of Emperor Xiaowu, Marquis of Anyang Jingsheng, cousin of King Mengxun of Northern Liang in Hexi, met the end of the Liang fortune when it was destroyed by the Northern Wei. Jingsheng fled secretly south to Jiankang, obscuring his ambition, lowering his status, and avoiding society. He frequently frequented stūpas and temples, humbling himself as an upāsaka, renouncing wife and children, and indifferent to honor and profit. Leisurely among companions of the Dharma, he propagated the true teaching, so both monastics and laity admired and revered him. The aforementioned various essential sūtras he translated were chanted and practiced for a long time before being propagated to the assembly. Approaching the brush to compose the texts, he was never obstructed. Meng Yi, the Governor of Danyang, saw and admired him, warmly welcoming and supporting him with lavish provisions; appears in the Biographies of Eminent Monks.
