右一經一卷。天監九年。郢州頭陀道人妙光。詣揚州治下弘普寺。方逢此經。聚徒誑惑。梁朝擯治。故指斥明以誡於後。教戒比丘

The one sūtra above, in one fascicle. In the ninth year of the Tianjian reign, the dhūta monk Miaoguang of Yingzhou came to Hongpu Monastery in the seat of Yangzhou, where he met with this sūtra. Gathering disciples, he deceived and misled them. The Liang court expelled and penalized him; therefore, it is pointed out and clarified here as a warning for later generations.
