右一部八十八卷。天監七年十一月。帝以法海浩博淺識窺尋卒難該究。因勅莊嚴寺沙門釋僧旻等。於定林上寺緝撰此部到八年夏四月方了。見寶唱錄。

The above one work in eighty-eight fascicles: in the eleventh month of the seventh year of Tianjian, the Emperor, considering that the sea of Dharma was vast and boundless and that those of shallow discernment peering into it could hardly fathom it thoroughly, ordered the śramaṇa Shi Sengmin and others of Zhuangyan Monastery to compile this work at the Upper Dinglin Monastery. It was completed in the fourth month of the summer of the eighth year. Attested in Baochang's catalogue.
