右一部八十卷。普通年勅開善寺沙門釋智藏等二十大德撰。但諸經論有義例處悉錄相從。以類聚之。譬同世林無事不植。每大法會。帝必親覽。以觀講論。賓主往還。理致途趣。如指掌也。

The above single work in eighty fascicles was compiled in the Putong era by imperial decree by the śramaṇa Shi Zhizang and twenty other venerable ones of Kaishan Monastery. Wherever the various sūtras and treatises contained doctrines and principles, they were completely recorded in sequence and gathered by category, likened to a worldly grove in which nothing is unplanted. Whenever a great Dharma assembly was held, the Emperor would personally consult it to observe the lectures and debates; the exchanges between guests and hosts, their reasoning and points of contention, were as clear as looking at the palm of one's hand.
