右二十三經合二十五卷。惠帝世。河內沙門白法祖出。高僧傳止云祖出一經。然其所出諸經遭世擾攘名錄罕存。莫紀其實。房廣搜檢諸雜記錄。見此二十二經。並注祖出。今依所覩備而載之。

The above twenty-three scriptures total twenty-five fascicles. Translated during the reign of Emperor Hui by the śramaṇa Bai Fazu of Henei. The Gaoseng zhuan states only that [Fa]zu translated one scripture. However, because the scriptures he produced encountered turbulent times, catalogues of their titles have rarely survived, and none recorded the actual facts. I, [Fei Zhang]fang, have extensively searched through various miscellaneous records, found these twenty-two scriptures all noted as translated by [Fa]zu, and have now fully recorded them in accordance with what I saw.
