十地經論十二卷（初譯論時未善魏言。名器世間為盞子世間。後因入殿齋見諸宿德。從弟子索器乃總授鉢幞。因悟器是總名。遂改為器世間）

*Daśabhūmika-sūtra-śāstra, twelve fascicles. (When the śāstra was first translated, [the translators] were not yet skilled in the language of Wei, and called the "receptacle world" (bhājanaloka) the "small cup world" (zhanzi shijian). Later, upon entering the palace for a vegetarian feast and observing the elder venerable monks requesting "receptacles" (qi) from their disciples, [the disciples] handed them all their bowls and cloths together. He thereby realized that qi is a general term, and thereupon changed it to "receptacle world" (qishijian).)
