The fourteen works above, totaling twenty-one fascicles. During the reign of Emperor Xiaowu of the Jin, the śramaṇa Shengjian translated them in the state of Henan for Qifu Gangui. Some call him Jian Gong, others call him Fajian; it is not certain which is correct, so all are listed. Upon checking the various catalogues: one sūtra was produced in Jiangling; one sūtra appears in the Zhao Catalogue; ten sūtras appear in the Shixing Catalogue—Shixing being the Southern Catalogue—or Zhu Daozu's Miscellaneous Records of the Jin Dynasty, or Zhi Mindu's Comprehensive Catalogue, or Wang Zong or Baochang. Examining the various catalogue records, the person seems to have traveled about and produced sūtras wherever he went. Since he had no fixed residence, it was unknown under which dynasty he should be listed; worldly catalogues take this as standard. Now, following Fashang's Catalogue, they are collectively entered into the records of the Qifu Western Qin period.
