劫初以來。嫡嫡相承。作轉輪王。近來二世。但作閻浮提王（大方便經○當知師子頰淨飯二世。獨王南洲。但鐵輪王耳）。

From the beginning of the kalpa onward, direct heirs succeeded one another, becoming wheel-turning kings. In the two most recent generations, they were merely kings of Jambudvīpa. (Mahāsaṃnipāta Sūtra. Note: One should understand that the two generations of Siṃhahanu and Śuddhodana ruled over the southern continent alone, being merely Iron Wheel-Turning Kings.)
