大儒高釋。有能以文字鋪張大道為法門之標表者。是不可不略錄也作名文光教志二卷。

For great Confucians and eminent monks who were able to use their writings to spread the Great Way and serve as models for the Dharma teachings, these must not be omitted from a brief record: I have composed two fascicles of the Treatise on Illustrious Writings Glorifying the Teaching.
