Dharma Master Yuanying, a native of Wuxing. During the Zhenghe era, he resided at the Zhizhe cloister and compiled the Zongyuan lu (has a biography).
Wu Keji, a native of Pujiang in Wunü, sobriquet Kai'an. During the Jiading era, he compiled the Shimen zhengtong (has a biography).
Dharma Master Zhizhao, nephew of Kai'an. He resided at Zuoxi in Wunü and compiled the Shijia pu lidai zongcheng tu (Record of the Genealogy of the Śākyas and Diagram of Successive Patriarchal Transmissions; see Kai'an's biography).
Dharma Master Jingqian, a native of Yuyao, studied under Guangjiao of Dongshan, sobriquet Jing'an. During the Jiading era, he resided at Lingshan in Tianzhu and compiled the Zongyuan lu, adding over sixty biographies beyond Wu's work.
Dharma Master Zongjian, a native of Liangzhu in Qiantang. At the beginning of the Jiaxi era, he resided at the Zhang Temple in Renshou and continued Kai'an's Shimen zhengtong, forming Basic Annals, Hereditary Houses, Biographies, various Treatises, and Monographic Records.
