11.13

法師清鑑。雲間人。賜號禪慧。為慈雲撰熾盛光念誦儀序。其略云。慈雲尊者。以行光教門。弟子清鑑。以所稟四種三昧行法遺編。獨熾底光未廣流布。遂因其舊五章。補助始末。加示法釋疑之二。以為七科。

Dharma Master Qingjian was a native of Yunjian, and was bestowed the title Chanhui. He composed the preface for Ciyun's *Chishengguang niansong yigui*. It briefly says: 'The Venerable Ciyun propagated the teaching gate of the Blazing Radiance (Chishengguang). I, the disciple Qingjian, from the surviving manuscripts of the methods for practicing the four kinds of samādhi that I received, [found that] only that of the Blazing Radiance had not been widely disseminated. Thereupon, following its original five chapters, I supplemented the beginning and end, and added two [sections] on demonstrating the method and resolving doubts, making seven categories in all.'
