序曰。華嚴云。最後身菩薩。欲令著家眾生捨離家法。為現自在不屬他故。宣揚出家功德勝故。此示現出家之意有在於是也。

The Preface states: The Huayan states: The Bodhisattva in his final body, wishing to make sentient beings attached to home abandon household norms, manifested being at ease and not subject to others, and praised the supreme merit of renunciation. The meaning of manifesting renunciation lies precisely in this.
