至德元年（癸卯盡四年）
至德三年。詔瓦官顗禪師。赴太極殿開
大智度論題。仁王般若經題。還靈曜寺
就講。時百座居左。五等居右。慧曠慧
辯。皆奉勅難問。天子臨筵聽法。百僚
盡敬。
至德四年。詔迎顗禪師。居光宅寺。帝幸
寺聽講仁王。躬禮三拜。
禎明元年（丁未盡三年）顗禪師。於光宅講法華
經。章安預聽。

Zhide, 1st year (guimao, continuing for 4 years).
In the third year of Zhide, an imperial decree summoned Chan Master Yi of Waguan to proceed to the Taiji Hall to expound the title of the Mahāprajñāpāramitā-śāstra and the title of the Renwang Bore Jing; he then returned to Lingyao Monastery to deliver the lectures. At that time, the hundred seats were arranged on the left, and the five ranks of nobility were arranged on the right. Huikuang and Huibian were both commanded by imperial decree to pose difficult questions. The Son of Heaven presided over the banquet to listen to the Dharma, and all the hundred officials showed utmost respect.
In the fourth year of Zhide, an imperial decree welcomed Chan Master Yi to reside at Guangzhai Monastery. The Emperor visited the monastery to hear the lecture on the Renwang [Jing] and personally made three prostrations.
Zhenming, 1st year (dingwei, continuing for 3 years). Chan Master Yi expounded the Lotus Sūtra at Guangzhai; Zhāng'ān attended and listened.
