建中元年（庚申盡四年）
建中三年二月五日。荊溪禪師於佛隴示
寂。
興元元年（甲子）
貞元元年（乙丑盡廿一年）
貞元中。十祖邃法師。於國清。為修法師
說止觀。

First year of Jianzhong (gengshen, lasting four years).
On the fifth day of the second month in the third year of Jianzhong, Chan Master Jingxi manifested nirvāṇa at Folong.
First year of Xingyuan (jiazi).
First year of Zhenyuan (yichou, lasting twenty-one years).
During Zhenyuan, the Tenth Patriarch, Dharma Master Sui, expounded cessation and contemplation for Dharma Master Xiu at Guoqing.
