Zuhui resided in the Buddha Pavilion of the prefectural city of Siming. Whenever he met people, he would only say: "Amitābha Buddha—it can be spoken, but it cannot be spoken!" People eventually came to call him the "Cannot-Be-Spoken Monk". Wang Yongheng, the police lieutenant of Yin, and his wife served him with the utmost devotion. One day he went to their house to bid farewell, saying: "I shall depart tomorrow." When the patrons had all assembled, he entered the niche, sat upright, asked for a sweet melon, ate the entire fruit, chanted the Buddha's name, and passed away.
