27.39

等觀。居天台常誦法華。一夕澡浴而西趺坐。念佛菩薩及智者名。復說三觀法門。言畢而終。

Dengguan resided at Tiantai and constantly recited the Lotus Sūtra. One evening, he bathed, sat cross-legged facing west, chanted the names of the Buddha, the bodhisattvas, and Zhiyi, and expounded the Dharma gate of the threefold contemplation. Having finished speaking, he died.
