28.13

魏師贊。雍州人。為僧童年十四。念佛不絕。遇疾而亡。忽再蘇白父母曰。阿彌陀佛來此兒當隨行。隣人見空中寶臺五色異光向西而沒。

Wei Shizan was a native of Yongzhou. He became a novice boy at the age of fourteen and recited the Buddha’s name without cease. Stricken by illness, he died, but suddenly revived and told his parents, “Amitābha Buddha has come here; I must follow him.” Neighbors saw a precious terrace in the sky and five-colored extraordinary light disappearing toward the west.
