減至二萬歲時。第三迦葉佛出世。姓迦葉。父梵德。母財主。侍者善友。子集軍。居波羅柰城。坐尼俱律樹下說法。一會度二萬人。

When it decreased to 20,000 years, the third Buddha, Kāśyapa, appeared in the world. His clan name was Kāśyapa; his father was Fande; his mother was Caizhu; his attendant was Shanyou; his son was Jijun. He dwelt in the city of Vārāṇasī, sat beneath a nyagrodha tree, and expounded the Dharma, delivering 20,000 people in a single assembly.
