31.10

吳鎧庵曰。此圖即華嚴蓮華藏世界海。乃實報無障礙土也。昔海禪師雖出其相。而說義未周。止禪師說義頗悉。而未顯其相。今雙收二家。且考之經目。曰法華常在靈山。蓋依智者所指故也。

Wu Kaian said: 'This diagram is indeed the Ocean of the Flower-Store Worlds of the *Avataṃsaka*, which is the realm of true reward and non-obstruction. Formerly, Dhyāna Master Hai brought forth its outward appearance, but his doctrinal explanation was incomplete; Dhyāna Master Zhi explained the doctrine quite thoroughly, but did not make its appearance evident. Now, both schools are gathered together, and furthermore examining the titles of the sūtras, it is said that the *Lotus Sūtra* is constantly at Vulture Peak, for it relies upon what Master Zhizhe indicated.'
