華嚴經云。三千大千世界以無量因緣乃成大地。依於水輪風輪空輪。空無所依。眾生業感世界安住。
The Avataṃsaka-sūtra says: 'A great trichiliocosm is formed as a great earth through immeasurable causes and conditions. It relies on the water disc, the wind disc, and the space disc. Space relies on nothing; through the karmic resonance of sentient beings the world abides.'
